ROAS

Return on Ad Spend

A metric measuring the effectiveness of paid advertising, expressing revenue attributed to ads relative to media spend. Unlike ROI, it typically excludes all operational costs.

Why it matters

It directly shows whether an ad is profitable: campaign revenue divided by ad spend. A simple, fast metric for real-time budget management.

What's missing without it

Without ROAS, campaigns are evaluated by clicks and reach — you can fund ads for years that actually hurt your business.

When it is used

In e-commerce and performance marketing: for ongoing campaign optimization and comparing sales channels.

How we use it

The dashboard shows ROAS for Meta Ads, Google Ads, and product ads.

Fun fact

Return on ad spend measures revenue, not profit. A campaign with four times return can still be unprofitable if product margin is only twenty percent — and this happens more often than agency presentations suggest.
