Nestlé Nutrition has been honored with the "Child-Friendly Company" title awarded by one of Poland's oldest public benefit organizations: the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights.

Nestlé Nutrition is one of the world's leading producers of food for infants and young children, with well-known brands under its wing in Poland such as: NAN OPTIPRO® 2, Gerber, Nestlé, and Bobo Frut. The company has been involved for years in activities aimed at caring for the health of successive generations of children and ensuring them the best possible start for the future. It pursues the idea of creating a world more friendly to children, among other ways, by creating high-quality products that help parents properly compose their children's diets, but also by providing them with solid knowledge about infant and young child care through the Healthy Start for the Future portal and numerous educational brochures. Also noteworthy is the recent initiative Project Body conducted under the patronage of the Healthy Start for the Future program, aimed at promoting knowledge about the importance of breastfeeding and the properties of breast milk, as well as the role of protein in the context of preventing civilization diseases, including childhood obesity. The company is also involved in projects aimed at increasing the safety of the youngest (the "First Aid" app).

Recognized Collaboration and Commitment

In awarding Nestlé Nutrition the "Child-Friendly Company" title, the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights primarily wished to recognize the company's commitment, its collaboration with the organization in the field of designing a child-friendly world, as well as its openness to social initiatives, the organizational and strategic support offered, and assistance from specialists, along with the opportunity to draw on the company's knowledge and years of experience.

Successes of Joint Projects

Many years of support, collaboration, and shared ideas have resulted in numerous projects
and successes. The "Child-Friendly Company" title is both a thank-you for these shared years
and a recognition of them, as well as an expression of hope for the continuation of these good practices.

Voices of Organization Representatives

"We are glad to have Nestlé Nutrition among the KOPD's strategic Partners. Otherwise, it would be difficult for us to carry out our mission and activities for children," says Magdalena Stachowiak-Alexandrowicz, Special Educator, Head of the PR and Fundraising Department and Treasurer of the National Board of KOPD.

Words of Appreciation from Nestlé Nutrition

"The title awarded to us by the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights, an organization with a long tradition of working for children, is a great honor for us. The good of the youngest has been our goal and most important priority since the company's founding. We are glad that for many years we have had a real impact on the lives of children and parents in Poland. Through our initiatives, we strive to support a healthy start for the future of successive generations of little ones—being able to watch them grow and develop is for us the greatest reward and the most important distinction," says Ewelina Bancerz-Poźniak, Specialist in Communication Development for Nestlé Nutrition Brands.
