DMARCTECHNICZNE
TechnicalHow it works under the hood

DMARC

Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance

A policy that tells email providers what to do with messages that fail SPF or DKIM — allow them, mark them as suspicious, or reject them. It also requests reports on spoofing attempts.

Why it matters

It ties SPF and DKIM into a single decision and shows in reports who is trying to send emails in your name. Gmail and Yahoo require DMARC from bulk senders.

What's missing without it

Without DMARC, no one enforces SPF and DKIM — spoofed emails still reach recipients, and you won’t know about it.

When it is used

When sending over 5000 messages per day (Gmail requirement), after a phishing incident affecting your brand, or when improving email deliverability.

How we use it

"v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:raporty@nazwa-domeny.pl" to start, then target p=quarantine, eventually p=reject.
