The International Art Moves Billboard Art Festival is the world's only billboard art festival. One of its main elements is the international competition for the best billboard work, organized annually.

The themes of the festival's annual editions are chosen so that they correspond to the social processes and phenomena shaping the contemporary, global world. This year, artists were invited to creatively interpret the slogan: "Who rules our lives: ourselves, other people, or algorithms?" A total of 1,024 works were submitted to the competition, sent by 562 artists from as many as 76 countries around the world.

The competition slogan could be treated as a metaphor for the processes taking place in the contemporary world. Participants had to answer the question whether, in a world that seemingly praises all individualism while simultaneously trying to average out all phenomena, including individual life, and subject them to statistics and algorithms, there is room for true individualists? What would your answer be?

The jury deemed the project by Ying-Hsiu Chen and Hsiang-Ying Chen from Taiwan to be the most interesting work.
