The Management Board of Hansgrohe SE has decided to entrust Robert Kamiński, the current CEO of Hansgrohe Polska, with the position of Director of the North-East Europe (NEE) Region, effective 1 September 2017.

Within the Hansgrohe structure, the North-East Europe Region covers 22 countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece. In his new role, Robert Kamiński will report directly to the Vice-President of the Management Board of Hansgrohe SE, Christophe Gourlan. Robert Kamiński will remain CEO of Hansgrohe Polska, where he has worked since 2011, first as Sales and Marketing Director and then as a board member for sales and marketing. He became CEO in March 2015. As stated in a communication addressed to employees, Robert Kamiński "joined the Hansgrohe team with extensive international experience in the structures of recognised organisations, including Philips and SONY. After his arrival at the company, Hansgrohe Polska was able to significantly increase its market shares across all domestic distribution channels, pursuing strategies of sustainable and profitable growth, in line with the objectives set by the Hansgrohe SE Management Board."

"Entrusting responsibility for such a vast and diverse region is undoubtedly an expression of the Hansgrohe SE Management Board's trust in a manager from our part of Europe, but also — and perhaps above all! — a recognition of the efforts of the entire Hansgrohe Polska Team, thanks to whom we have achieved very good results in our day-to-day operations. Only thanks to the commitment and cooperation of my entire Team was it possible to lay the foundation for the decision to appoint me to this honourable position. I trust that the experience gained during my work within the structures of Hansgrohe Polska will be inspiring for other countries in the region, but also that the experience of other countries will help make both Poland and the other markets of the North-East Europe region an even more significant contributor to the business of the Hansgrohe Group. The North-East Europe Region is undoubtedly a potential source of further strengthening the market position of the AXOR and hansgrohe brands on our continent, which for over a hundred years has been the cradle of the Company that has been changing the world of bathrooms and kitchens in terms of quality, design and listening to the needs of every Customer," said Robert Kamiński after the announcement of the Hansgrohe SE Management Board's decision. Robert Kamiński (b. 1967) graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology (Faculty of Electronics) and the University of Surrey in the UK. He has many years of managerial experience in domestic and international B2B and B2C structures. Privately, he enjoys travelling and values the analogue dimension of life — he is passionate about analogue audio equipment and analogue sound recording and playback technology (he collects analogue tapes and vinyl records), and he photographs with analogue cameras.

Concepts from the article

B2C — Business-to-Consumer / company to consumer. A business model in which a company sells directly to an individual customer. Communication often focuses on benefits, emotions, convenience, price and a fast purchase process.

Why it matters: It allows you to play on emotions and convenience: the consumer decides quickly, on their own, and with their heart more often than with a spreadsheet. A simple purchase path can mean more than an argument.

When it is used: When selling to consumers: product campaigns, promotions, e-commerce, communication for everyday brands. It is applied in two areas: consumer marketing and as a business model (company–consumer sales).

What happens if it is omitted: Communication written like a tender offer bores the consumer — the winner is the one who speaks shorter, warmer and makes the purchase easier.
