Esports to the Digital Power: ESL Poland Becomes a New Client of d*fusion communication
ESL Poland has selected a new PR agency to lead its communication activities on the Polish market. ESL invited 4 agencies to pitch, and the best offer was presented by d*fusion communication, an agency specializing in public relations and digital activities for companies in the new technology sector. The parties signed an open-ended contract.
The d*fusion communication agency welcomed its new client with a 30-second video spot, published on the agency's social media:
ESL is the global leader in the esports industry. The company's Polish branch is involved both in organizing professional esports competitions — the crown jewels of which are tournaments such as Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice and the ESL Polish Championship — as well as producing its own esports formats, created both for the local market and for a global audience. ESL broadcasts are watched by hundreds of millions of fans from around the world.
– Esports is constantly evolving, it never stands still, and ESL as the industry leader is in a continuous process of setting trends, creating something new, and delivering consistently high-quality entertainment. Our goal is to deliver the best possible emotions to players and fans taking part in our events, both on-site and in front of screens around the world. With that in mind, the time has come for changes in our communication structure. We are delighted to begin our PR cooperation with the d*fusion communication agency. At this point we would like to thank the Mindspot Communication agency for many years of successful and fruitful cooperation – says Adrian Kostrzębski, Regional Development Director.
– Esports is today probably the most exciting sector of the entire technology industry and the key to understanding entertainment in the digital world. Esports competitions are followed by an audience counted in hundreds of millions of fans, in virtually every corner of the globe. In Poland, the number of regular esports viewers already exceeds one million people, and occasional viewers number over 6 million. This makes our country one of the most important esports markets in all of Europe. For us, as an advisory firm operating in the field of new technologies, esports is becoming one of the key industries around which we build our competencies, and communicating to such an engaged and large audience group is a fantastic challenge. All the more reason we are delighted to cooperate with the Polish branch of ESL, which is the global leader in this field – says Kamil Kozłowski, Managing Partner at d*fusion communication.
Agency's Tasks
The tasks of the d*fusion communication agency will include running the company's press office, developing a PR strategy, media relations, and recommending and coordinating creative activations promoting ESL in the media. A two-person team of consultants will handle activities for the new client.
