Poland's largest independent communications group announces a major management reshuffle on 12 February 2026. Three key appointments are set to accelerate the integration of 15 companies into a data, media and AI-driven ecosystem.

The change comes at a time of intensified investment in technology and innovation across the industry, where growth dynamics are accelerating and competition from global players demands increasingly efficient structures.

Three appointments for a group with GBP 4.9 million in revenue

The management reorganisation at Group One reflects the ambitious development goals of Poland's largest independent communications group.

Kamil Wiszowaty has taken the role of Chief Business Officer & Managing Partner, Bartosz Krzewski has become Chief Operations Officer, and Joanna Czekaj Chief Innovation Officer. All three report directly to Marek Żołędziowski, the group's CEO, and Maciek Hutyra, the vice-president.

These are not cosmetic changes. Each appointment responds to strategic priorities for the years ahead. Wiszowaty takes responsibility for coordinating the entire group, Krzewski will focus on profitability and technology investments estimated at GBP 2.1–3.1 million annually, and Czekaj will lead the integration of artificial intelligence and MarTech across the entire platform.

In an era where 65 percent of marketers plan investments of more than GBP 1 million annually in technology (according to an industry report), such a strengthening of structures is not only justified but indeed essential.

"These changes enable even more effective integration of the know-how of all companies into a single ecosystem based on data, media and AI.

This is the transformation we planned, and now we have the people who can deliver it"Kamil Wiszowaty, Chief Business Officer & Managing Partner of Group One.

Kamil Wiszowaty: from media strategy to managing the entire group

Kamil Wiszowaty is a figure with a solid foundation of experience in the communications industry. His career spans more than 15 years at key media agencies.

He began at OMD, where he quickly rose to manager, building expertise in media planning and strategy. He then worked at Zenith Optimedia and Mediacom, where he specialised in advanced strategic planning and optimisation of advertising budgets for major brands.

He joined Group One in 2018 and quickly became a key figure in the development of Group One Media, one of the largest companies in the group. Under his leadership, the division recorded spectacular revenue growth of 25 percent in 2025. Wiszowaty managed seven companies from the group's portfolio, providing experience in the practical running of complex business structures.

His achievements include serving the largest international clients in the automotive and FMCG sectors, including campaigns for Porsche and Toyota. This is not abstract theoretical knowledge, but hands-on practice in managing budgets worth tens of millions of złoty annually. Wiszowaty is a graduate of the prestigious Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), specialising in marketing. Industry experts consistently praise his ability to build teams, articulate a business vision and deliver results in a rapidly changing environment.

In his new role as Chief Business Officer & Managing Partner, he is responsible for the development strategy of the entire group, organisational culture and the critical integration of 15 companies, including brands such as Value Media, MediaPlus and Salestube. All heads of subsidiaries report to him. In his new role, he moves from leading one large division to coordinating the entire ecosystem – a dramatically different scope of responsibility.

Bartosz Krzewski: an operations leader with CEE experience

Bartosz Krzewski, the new Chief Operations Officer, brings 12 years of experience in the communications industry to Group One. His career includes roles at leading global agencies – he worked at Dentsu and Havas Media, where he was responsible for operations in the Central and Eastern Europe region, one of the most challenging territories due to market diversity and operational requirements.

Krzewski's previous role was Chief Operations Officer of Group One Media, where he focused on cost optimisation and margin improvement. His efforts translated into EBITDA margins of 18–20 percent, a result well above average in the communications services industry. Such financial results are proof of his ability to manage complex business structures and oversee expenditure without compromising service quality.

Krzewski is a graduate of Warsaw University of Technology, where he studied applied computer science, giving him a technical background that is particularly valuable in the era of digital transformation in communications. In his new role as Chief Operations Officer, he will focus on revenue strategy, project profitability and – crucially for the group's future – investments in technology and artificial intelligence.

The finance, legal, controlling and buying departments report to him, giving him control over key functions supporting the group's growth.

"Managing profitability and investing in AI and technology are priorities in an increasingly dynamic communications market. We must be operationally lean but generous towards innovation"Bartosz Krzewski, Chief Operations Officer of Group One.

Krzewski's role is growing in significance in a context where Group One estimates annual investments in AI and technology at GBP 2.1–3.1 million. These are transformational-scale funds for a group with revenue of GBP 4.9 million – meaning the group is dedicating between 43 and 65 percent of its revenue to future investments.

Such proportions require operational oversight at the highest level so that every pound is spent effectively.

Joanna Czekaj: innovation and MarTech front and centre

Joanna Czekaj combines her new role as Chief Innovation Officer with her position as CEO of Salestube, one of the most dynamic companies in Group One's portfolio.

Her appointment underscores the importance the group attaches to integrating technology, data, artificial intelligence, MarTech and automation across the entire business structure.

With 10 years of experience in the technology and marketing industry, Czekaj built her career at international corporations – she worked at Google and Accenture, where she specialised in MarTech solutions. These experiences gave her deep knowledge of how technology is changing the way brands communicate with consumers. She joined Group One in 2020 and within five years grew Salestube from a start-up into a leader in the e-commerce tech sector in Poland.

Her achievements at Salestube are far from trivial. The company became a market leader in e-commerce marketing technology, serving Poland's largest e-commerce players. Czekaj is a graduate of the Kraków University of Economics and a passionate advocate of artificial intelligence in marketing, making her an ideal candidate to coordinate AI strategy across the entire group.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Czekaj is responsible for integrating technological, data and artificial intelligence competencies across the group's entire platform. The heads of teams at Salestube, AI expert Wojtek Kaźmierczak, and the Brand Reputation and Events departments all report to her. This is significant responsibility for building a data- and AI-driven value proposition for all 15 companies in the group.

"Integrating MarTech and AI is not just a current trend, it is a fundamental change in how marketing works. My role is to make sure the entire Group One benefits from these opportunities to the fullest"Joanna Czekaj, Chief Innovation Officer of Group One.

The innovation budget prepared for 2026 is estimated at GBP 4.2 million, according to internal data and market analysis from Kantar MIXX Awards 2025.

This is a figure that demonstrates the scale of the group's commitment to technological transformation.

Group One: an independent leader on a global scale

Group One, founded in 2013, has positioned itself from the outset as something unique in the Polish communications industry. It is Poland's largest independent communications group, while also being part of the global Serviceplan Group.

It is an unusual combination – maintaining independence in strategy and decision-making while benefiting from the resources of a global partner.

The group employs more than 800 experts at its Warsaw headquarters and across 64 markets worldwide. Its portfolio comprises 15 companies covering the full range of communications services – from Value Media (media planning), through MediaPlus (planning), Salestube (e-commerce tech), Grow Now (gaming), to specialist agencies such as Change, Serviceplan, Gong and many others.

Group One's financial results for 2024 were impressive. Net sales revenue amounted to GBP 4.9 million (up 23.9 percent year on year), with net profit of GBP 3.5 million (up 12.2 percent). Return on equity (ROE) of 23.2 percent confirms exceptional allocation efficiency. The group's equity of GBP 15 million represents 92.8 percent of assets (totalling GBP 16.1 million), demonstrating a solid financial structure.

Group One builds its competitive advantage on investments in AI and data. It operates in the MarTech market, which is growing at 28 percent annually (IAB Polska 2025 report). Despite competition from global giants – Dentsu and Publicis – the group has a clearly defined position: Polish independence supported by expertise in data and AI technologies.

Market context: growth dynamics and AI investments

The changes in Group One's management structure are not accidental – they are a response to the market dynamics in which the group operates. The communications services market in Poland is worth GBP 3.1 billion in 2025, growing at 12 percent year on year (PwC Media Outlook 2025 report). These are solid growth rates, but the distribution of that growth is uneven.

The key growth trends are AI and data analytics. According to industry research, 65 percent of marketers in Poland plan technology investments of more than GBP 1 million annually. These appointments at Group One – particularly the naming of Joanna Czekaj as Chief Innovation Officer – fit directly into this trend, strengthening the group's position against global competitors and positioning it as a digital transformation expert.

Dr Janusz Łaciak of IAB Polska, an independent industry expert, emphasises the importance of MarTech integration: integrating marketing technology solutions increases campaign effectiveness by up to 30 percent. For a group handling campaigns worth tens of millions of złoty annually, such an efficiency gain represents a concrete competitive advantage and value for clients.

Geographic expansion ambitions are confirmed by concrete actions. Salestube is opening a new office in the United Kingdom in cooperation with MediaPlus UK, demonstrating the group's serious commitment to international markets.

Group One's operating budget for 2026 is estimated at GBP 63–73 million in revenue (internal data and market analysis from Kantar 2026), of which approximately 15 percent, or GBP 9.5–11 million, has been allocated to innovation.

In the automotive segment, key to Group One, marketing spend rose by 18 percent in 2025 (PMR Automotive Marketing 2025 report). The group serves industry leaders such as Porsche, confirming its potential to handle complex, demanding campaigns under new management structures.

The significance of the changes: integration and scaling in the AI era

In summary, the appointments of Kamil Wiszowaty, Bartosz Krzewski and Joanna Czekaj to key positions represent a well-considered strategy to prepare the group for its next stage of growth. Wiszowaty guarantees coordination across the entire platform, Krzewski provides operational robustness and financial support for technology investments, and Czekaj drives the transformation towards AI and data.

These appointments are also an investment in talent. Each of the three managers brings extensive international experience, team-building skills and, most importantly, a proven track record of delivering results in a rapidly changing communications industry environment.

"These appointments are a step towards full ecosystem integration, which will strengthen our position as a leader. I believe this team will take Group One to a new level of scaling"Marek Żołędziowski, CEO of Group One.
