Investment Director is a newly created position at Publicis Media. Bartosz's task will be creating and implementing negotiation strategies with all media.

Experience and Career Path

Bartosz Sieradzki has been involved in the advertising and media market since 2004. He began his career in the marketing and sales support department at the brokerage firm Mediatak. In 2006, he joined the media agency Starlink (now Spark Foundry), which was then part of Starcom Mediavest Group (SMG).

He was responsible for media planning and buying for the GlaxoSmithKline concern. He then coordinated cooperation with television stations for the entire SMG. From 2010, he was responsible for creating TV purchasing policy and participating in multiscreen negotiations for the Vivaki group (the negotiation structure of SMG and ZenithOptimedia Group).

Scope of New Responsibilities

The negotiation team that will be led by Bartosz is just one of the departments of Publicis Media Exchange (PMX). PMX is led by Iwona Jaśkiewicz-Kundera, Chief Investment Officer of Publicis Media. Bartosz's tasks will include maintaining the competitive advantage of the Starcom, Zenith, Blue 449, and Spark Foundry agencies in terms of cost conditions, further unifying internal processes related to negotiations, developing analytical tools in the negotiation department, and creating solutions to help optimize work.

I have been working with Bartek for 12 years. From the beginning of his career in our organization, he stood out for his exceptional commitment, thoroughness, and reliability in carrying out the tasks entrusted to him. I have no doubt that he has become one of the most effective negotiators in the marketing communications industry - says Piotr Piętka, CEO of Publicis Media

Concepts from the Article

TV — Television. An audiovisual medium that distributes programs, advertisements, and video materials through linear channels, streaming, or hybrid television. TV campaigns require planning of reach, frequency, spot format, broadcasting, and audience measurement.

Why it matters: Still unrivaled in building mass awareness: no other channel delivers as many contacts with an audiovisual message at once. Presence on TV also lends credibility to a brand in the eyes of retail.

When it is used: For mass product launches, brand building, and campaigns requiring fast, broad reach.

What the risk of omitting it is: Without television, quickly building broad recognition requires piecing together reach from many smaller channels — slower and not always cheaper.
