Havas is investing in the further development of its social and content marketing capabilities. In March, Paweł Modzelewski will join the group's digital marketing experts as Head of Socialyse.
The Socialyse team and its clients
Socialyse is a team of content marketing and social media experts with very broad capabilities – from analysis, through creative work, to planning and integration of other communication channels, both online and offline. The team currently works for clients such as Słodka Chwila Dr. Oetker, Hyundai, Prudential, Philips and Asus.
Paweł Modzelewski's experience
Paweł has 14 years of experience in creating innovative solutions in marketing communication. Most recently he headed the Strategy & Creative department at 247Communication, where he supported teams in using new tools and channels based on digital solutions. Earlier, as Head of Social, he created and developed a several-dozen-strong social media department at Publicis Groupe, where he handled clients such as T-Mobile, Link4, Crunchips, Milka, Samsung and Coca-Cola. He also has work on strategies for brands such as McDonald's, Orange and Wedel to his name. For years he has been actively involved in efforts to digitise the PR industry – he initiated the creation of the PR working group within IAB.
Developing capabilities at Havas
Working with Paweł Modzelewski is the next stage in the development of Havas' digital capabilities, following investments in Data Business Intelligence and ecommerce. In his role as head of Socialyse, his task will be to develop the content marketing offering, based on a strong creative, analytical and research foundation, drawing on both the media (Havas Media Group) and creative (Havas Creative Group) resources of the agency.
As Head of Socialyse, Paweł Modzelewski will support clients of both Havas divisions in this area.

The role of Head of Socialyse at Havas and development plans
PR — Public Relations. Activities that build an organisation's reputation and relationships with its environment: the media, clients, employees, partners and communities. PR covers press releases, media relations, crisis management, events and brand narrative.
Why it matters: It builds what no advertisement can buy: credibility in someone else's voice. An editorial publication and a well-handled crisis weigh more than a campaign – because it is a third party speaking, not the brand about itself.
When it is used: Continuously: media relations, press releases, interviews, events; especially in a crisis and during changes at the company.
What happens if it is skipped: Without media relationships, a company speaks only through paid channels, and in a crisis it is left without spokespeople and without trust.
