The former CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group (now Publicis Media) has become the CEO and shareholder of a new Polish air taxi operator. What will Jakub Benke be responsible for in his new role?
Jakub Benke, an experienced manager in the Polish aviation industry, has taken the position of CEO and become a shareholder of Bartolini Air, a new Polish air taxi operator. His main tasks will primarily involve developing the offer of private air travel in Poland and Europe.
Benke's Career
Jakub Benke worked for many years in the marketing services industry and was a long-time CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group (2000-2013). As early as 2008, he began cooperation with the airline Jet Story, where he worked as CEO and pilot simultaneously. He was associated with Jet Story for 9 years. The newly assumed position in the Bartolini Air group requires Jakub Benke to be responsible for a company engaged in air transport and jet aircraft management.

About Bartolini Air
Bartolini Air is a Polish air taxi operator that offers private air travel in the air taxi formula, and also provides services for private aircraft owners - such as crew recruitment, aircraft technical support, and hangaring. Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport is the operator's main base.
In April 2018, the Civil Aviation Authority awarded Bartolini Air an air carrier certificate, which confirms the company's fulfillment of all European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements for airlines.
The company is starting operations with a fleet of twin-engine piston aircraft Tecnam P2006T and a jet from the American company Cessna - Citation Jet. It is also holding talks regarding taking over the management of several more private jet aircraft.
The Bartolini Air group also includes the largest aviation training center in Central Europe. The company is also a certified maintenance organization and a sales representative for the aircraft brands Tecnam and Daher Socata in Poland.
