A new creative agency for IKEA Centres has been selected through a tender process. Agencja Warszawa will be responsible for communication strategy and creative work for the next 2 years.
IKEA Centres is an Ikea Group company managing profitable shopping centres. In mid-August 2018 it concluded a tender for a creative agency for three shopping centres in Poland: Wola Park, Port Łódź and Park Handlowy Matarnia.
Agencja Warszawa is an independent Polish advertising agency operating mainly in the areas of digital, content and experience marketing. The agency had already worked with the IKEA chain before, carrying out, among others, the campaign for the opening of the IKEA store in Lublin and a project called “IKEA Po Sąsiedzku” (IKEA Next Door).
The agency's tasks will now include developing communication strategy and creative work for the three shopping centres. The new Account Director will be Katarzyna Grzeszczak, and the person responsible for concept and design will be Michał Sadowski, the new Creative Director.
Our goal was to find a partner who could offer us solutions in line with IKEA Centres' global strategy, which positions our shopping centres as meeting places. It is important to us that our promotional activities constantly emphasise the local character of IKEA Centres' facilities, as well as their focus on cooperation with local communities and the constant search for ways to engage people and bring them closer together. It was not an easy task – Agencja Warszawa presented the best proposal meeting these assumptions. - says Iwona Borkowska, Marketing Manager IKEA Centres for the region of Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia
