Cloud Technologies, a company listed on NewConnect, has increased the number of anonymous internet user profiles it analyzes to over 9 billion.

This means it knows the interests and preferences of almost every web user, regardless of location and the device they use to connect to the internet.

Three times more data

The number of anonymous internet user profiles analyzed by Cloud Technologies, a company specializing in Big Data and data monetization, has risen to 9 billion. That is three times more than a year ago. At that time, the OnAudience.com platform created by the company to collect, process and analyze data was processing 3 billion anonymous profiles, while limiting itself to analyzing internet users using desktop computers. Today Cloud Technologies also processes mobile data, which allows for a more precise determination of web users' preferences.

- Thanks to the implementation of new technological solutions and the acquisition of new business partners, we managed to significantly increase the amount of data we process. We recorded the largest increases in the American market and key European markets. Importantly, we now also process anonymous information left by internet users on mobile devices. Analyzing information from multiple sources and locations makes it significantly easier to match advertising messaging to individual needs. Data resolution is now so high that it can successfully feed companies' CRM systems, helping them make better business decisions – says Piotr Prajsnar, CEO of Cloud Technologies.

9 billion is more than the size of the world population

At present, the number of anonymous user profiles and advertising identifiers analyzed by Cloud Technologies exceeds the world population, estimated at 7.5 billion. How is that possible? The answer to this question is quite simple: today the average internet user uses multiple devices, and the OnAudience.com platform processes not only cookies from desktop devices, but also data from mobile devices. This affects the amount of data processed.

It is estimated that around 4 billion people use the internet. However, a user of the global network usually logs in from many devices - a laptop, a mobile phone or a tablet. This means that the total number of cookies exceeds the population. It is worth emphasizing that in the digital world, collecting gigantic volumes of data is not the feat; the challenge is finding the right correlations among them and, consequently, monetizing them. Analyzing information from many sources and locations makes this significantly easier – notes Piotr Prajsnar of Cloud Technologies.

Current data on internet users' preferences and behavior is increasingly valuable, as

confirmed by the report “The Value of Our Digital Identity” by Boston Consulting Group.

It shows that the value of the digital identity of internet users from the European Union in 2020

will approach a round trillion euros, which is equivalent to nearly 8 percent of GDP

generated by all the Community's member states.
