Did you know how many times a week you should eat fish? Can canned fish meet your weekly requirement for Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins? Graal has launched an educational programme encouraging consumers to eat fish 3 times a week, including canned fish, and to choose products bearing the "Quality Tradition" mark.
For several years now, Graal has been focused on reshaping the perception of the canned fish category by highlighting the health-promoting nutritional value of fish. This year, it began its educational activity with an information campaign focused on popularising fish as an everyday component of the diet.
- One of the elements initiating the educational programme was Graal's February campaign, in which we encouraged Poles to increase their fish consumption, as fish enrich our diet with Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins. Our products bear the "Quality Tradition" mark, and that comes with obligations. The guarantee of the highest quality is the raw material itself - the fish - followed by its preparation, meaning thermal processing and a safe packaging method. Thanks to this, our products can be stored for many months – says Justyna Frankowska, member of the Management Board of the Graal Capital Group.
The TV spot campaign, which is part of Graal's educational programme, was co-financed by the European Union under the sub-measure "Support for information and promotion activities implemented by producer groups on the internal market" of the Rural Development Programme for 2014-2020.
These activities used 15-second and 30-second spots, which were broadcast on TVP, TVN, Polsat and thematic channels.
The continuation of the programme includes a regular presence in morning breakfast shows, in which the brand, in cooperation with chefs and dietitians, promotes the consumption of Omega-3 fatty acids, found abundantly in fish, among other sources, as well as the TV spot campaign. In March and April, 15-second and 30-second spots encouraging Poles to eat canned fish will be broadcast on TVP, TVN, Polsat and thematic channels.
