InvestmentsFunds, valuations and what the contract says

ANGEL INVESTOR

A private individual investing their own money in early-stage companies, typically between 100,000 and 500,000 PLN.

Why it matters

Provides capital and — often more valuable — connections and experience from their own businesses.

What's missing without it

Without angels, many companies would never reach the stage where a venture fund would even consider talking to them.

When it is used

At the pre-seed and seed stages.

How we use it

An angel invests 200,000–500,000 PLN and opens doors to first customers.

Fun fact

The term comes from Broadway: it referred to wealthy patrons who funded shows a few days before premiere, when money had run out.
