For the third time, WALK Events organized the Mercedes-Benz Cars Dealer Meeting. This time, the event crucial for Mercedes-Benz car communication took place at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. The event was hosted by Marcin Prokop and Andrzej Borowczyk, and its star was the duo Dharni and K-Leah.
The Mercedes-Benz Cars Dealer Meeting is our most important event of the year. It is during this event that we summarize the past 12 months and present our sales goals and marketing strategy for the current year. For dealers, it is also a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with car models that have yet to go on sale, as well as to see automotive gems unavailable on the Polish market. Due to the significance of the event, everything must be interesting and perfectly organized. There is no room for error here. That is why we once again entrusted its organization to a trusted partner – WALK Events – and together we created another unforgettable show – said Urszula Reichman, Marketing Manager Mercedes-Benz Polska.
The biggest attraction of this year's event was the presentation of the absolutely unique on a global scale, the manufacturer's latest creation - the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept car. Additionally, due to the 50th anniversary of the AMG brand celebrated this year, three exceptional models were specially brought to Poland for the occasion – the DTM series racing car C 63 AMG and two historic ones: the 300 SEL 6.8 AMG and the 300 E 5.6 AMG "Hammer".
We have organized the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Meeting for the third time already, so our biggest challenge was to surprise the guests once again, and we set the bar very high for ourselves. In the previous edition, we created an amazing multimedia show that the attendees watched from the balconies. That is why this year we turned the concept 180 degrees so that the guests became part of the event. To achieve this, we "raised the meeting to the third power" - at ground level we created a monumental stage design based on playing with solids, and with the help of the latest technologies we created a digital world from it. At its center was an audience on rotating chairs, following the presentation dynamically unfolding around them – said Michał J. Olszewski, event producer and Senior Event Manager at WALK Events.
During Grand Prix3 2017, the hall of the International Congress Centre in Katowice turned into a stage for an artistic and automotive show combined with an 8-hour sales presentation. At its central point was a 4x4x4m LED cube. Around it, on a plan referencing the brand's logo, rotating chairs for the guests were arranged. The whole was surrounded by 6 solids, which together contained 12 cars. Each of them measured 8x6x4m and had a unique design referencing the character of the vehicles hidden inside.
The event began with the reveal of the hosts by raising the central screen, accompanied by animation and music. Then, each of the six stages of the model presentations was accompanied by the lifting of one of the solids surrounding the audience, which took place alongside artistic performances – dance, acrobatic or musical – and animations referencing the specific character of the given car. The hosts, in turn, moved to stages located inside the solids to lead the next part of the meeting. The comfortable reception of the presented content was ensured by a team operating a vision from 4 cameras onto auxiliary LED screens, while the presentation content was displayed on two large screens located at the top of the hall.
WALK Events was responsible for the comprehensive production of the event - from developing the concept to its execution.
