As a company reaching millions of consumers in Poland, we feel responsible for continuing our efforts and being an example of how business can have a positive impact on its surroundings in many different areas. – said Katarzyna Borucka, Director of Public Affairs and Communications at Coca-Cola HBC Poland and the Baltic States.

Sustainable development strategy

Social responsibility and sustainable development are an integral part of the business culture of Coca-Cola HBC Poland. The company's strategy is built on the fundamental value of creating and sharing added value with employees, customers, and local communities. In its sustainable development commitments, Coca-Cola focuses on minimizing the impact of its operations on the natural environment. To this end, it has announced the ambition of a World Without Waste, under which by 2030 it wants to collect and process exactly as many cans and bottles as it delivers to consumers. Moreover, the company is taking action to ensure that all its packaging, used worldwide, is 100% recyclable. That is not all—the company also focuses on the professional activation of young people, providing them with tools and programs such as YEP.Academy, which help in choosing the direction of education as well as a career path.

About the Responsible Companies Ranking

The Responsible Companies Ranking, first published in 2007, is the only list of companies operating in Poland assessed for the quality of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) management. The basis for creating the Responsible Companies Ranking lists is a survey that companies complete in accordance with the principles of due diligence and professional ethics. The ranking enables a credible assessment of a company's advancement in taking on sustainable development challenges and is also a valuable educational tool that facilitates the development of business responsibility strategies. Since 2018, the organizer of the ROF has been Koźmiński Business Hub, while the substantive partner is the Responsible Business Forum.
