The WhitePress platform has completed work on integrating influencer statistics from social media: Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. This is meant to enable a more precise insight into the statistics of individual influencers so that they can be matched to a given campaign as effectively as possible.
The platform's creators decided to introduce this solution so that advertisers could avoid doubts or even disappointment after poorly chosen participants in a given campaign. It often turns out that a given creator does enjoy a lot of interest, but not among the target group of a specific brand or campaign. Another problem is the location of the influencer's audience. If we want to build a campaign in Poland and it turns out that the person we invited to cooperate reaches mainly people from the United States, it may turn out that we have wasted our promotional budget.
What data can be obtained?
What data can be obtained?
WhitePress programmers created a mechanism that allows the most important influencer statistics to be downloaded directly from their social media accounts. The scope of the information obtained varies depending on the platform and the type of account – the broadest and most accurate data is provided by Instagram, especially for business profiles. The software gives access to the social media statistics of influencers in one place, offering advertisers a complete set of valuable information. They gain this access already at the stage of browsing the database, where the addresses of hundreds of blogs, YouTube channels and Instagram accounts are appropriately tagged and categorized.
Chart from the WhitePress platform based on data from Facebook
Data downloaded from Instagram accounts makes it possible to determine: the gender of the audience, their age and country of origin. This allows us to exclude accounts whose territorial reach does not match our expectations. Based on data from Facebook, we can assess trends in fan behavior – for example, whether we can speak of growth or decline? This will make it easier for us to decide to drop an influencer who may be popular, but for several months has been mainly recording a decline in popularity. Thanks to data from YouTube, on the other hand, we can assess viewer activity on a channel in order to avoid a situation in which we cooperate with a person who gained popularity on the wave of one good piece of content, which was not followed by further activity.
