Lufthansa launched the "Lufthansa Memory Network" campaign today, whose tagline is "Ready to remember?"
In Lufthansa's new online campaign, passengers will share their travel memories. The initiative aims to inspire travel enthusiasts and let them share memories by bringing them together on a unique platform available on Lufthansa's website. The site allows users to share their memories and discover the experiences of other travelers. The Lufthansa Memory Network campaign is intended to exchange individual travel experiences and provide inspiration for new trips.
The "Lufthansa Memory Network" campaign - a competitor for Instagram or perhaps a way to build brand attachment?
The platform is a one-of-a-kind photo album organized like a neural network, where travel memories are collected and then linked through associations such as destination, activity, date and other related keywords. Users can log in through their Facebook or Twitter account or email and upload a photo from their favorite trip, including the location, year, occasion and description of the memory. Logged-in users can explore other travelers' memories using keywords or filtering them by various criteria – such as year, continent or country – and leave comments. Everyone will receive a notification when their memory is linked with another user. Everyone who uploads their photos automatically takes part in a competition for prizes, including a ticket for a Lufthansa cruise on a European route, a Rimowa suitcase with an electronic tag or a GoPro HERO5 Black camera.
The Lufthansa Memory Network campaign will be promoted in special newsletters, on the LH.com website and in the carrier's social media channels. The platform is also available in a Polish language version.
