Agency Uszka w Barszczu won the tender to handle Starbucks

Agency Uszka w Barszczu won the tender to handle advertising and creative activities for the Polish branch of Starbucks in social media. The agency won thanks to a coherent strategy, an understanding of the brand, and creative ideas that fit the company's DNA. The parties do not disclose the duration of the contract.

A strategy based on values

Conducting social media communication for a brand belonging to the so-called love brands is a challenge both creatively and strategically. We want to base our activities on the values that have been key for the client for years - openness, warmth, and authenticity. Thanks to this approach, we can be close to the people connected with the brand – says Rafał Piwoński, Strategy Planner at Uszki w Barszczu.

Cooperation

Uszka w Barszczu and Starbucks are starting their cooperation with the creative campaign “Starbucks – Kawa mi gra” (“Starbucks – Coffee Plays for Me”). This initiative celebrates International Coffee Day, which is one of the most important days of the year for the brand. As part of the campaign, a film was created in which musicians perform live songs inspired by the names of customers present in the café and their orders. The campaign will be run on the Facebook and Instagram profiles of Starbucks Polska.

Summary

Agency Uszka w Barszczu won the tender to handle advertising and creative services for the Polish branch of Starbucks in social media. The key factor was a strategy based on the brand's values: openness, warmth, and authenticity. The first joint project is the campaign “Starbucks – Kawa mi gra” for International Coffee Day, in which musicians improvise songs based on the names of customers and their orders. The activities will appear on the Facebook and Instagram profiles of Starbucks Polska.

Starbucks belongs to the group of love brands, which is why the creative challenge is combined here with the need to maintain image consistency. However, the parties did not disclose the duration of the contract, which leaves room for speculation about the long-term nature of the cooperation.
