Nowadays, there are plenty of tools on the market that make website optimization easier and maximize their ranking in Google. Some of them help refine technical aspects, others the link profile or keywords, and still others the content.
Nevertheless, despite constantly emerging improved solutions in the SEO industry, it is worth remembering that no automation will do all the work for us. Below we present 6 useful tools that help better analyze websites and improve their SEO. This list was prepared by Szymon Słowik - an SEO specialist, marketer, and internet marketing consultant.
1. SEO SpyGlass
SpyGlass is part of the SEO Power Suite application that makes it possible to conduct an analysis of the link profile of both the client and their competition. With its help, it is possible to reach links with optimized anchor texts that support high rankings in Google. SpyGlass also estimates the risk of receiving a penalty in connection with an acquired link and supports qualitative analysis of the link profile through various diversification criteria, such as links to the homepage vs. links to subpages, image vs. text, dofollow vs. nofollow.
2. Sitebulb
Sitebulb is a crawler-type tool, meaning it is used to gather information about websites by going through every page in the structure. In this way, data is collected both about individual subpages and about the entire website. It is an easy-to-use tool that also makes it possible to use information sources such as the XML sitemap, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
3. SurferSEO
This is a Polish product that is currently in the demo phase. It is used for analyzing the state of on-page factors, such as the number of words or the page size. All you need to do is choose a specific phrase and location, and the tool will retrieve and present the data. With SurferSEO, you can also check whether there is a relationship between page loading speed and the rankings achieved. In an SEO industry ruled by the analysis of specific niches or phases, this is a very useful device.
4. SEOquake
SEOquake is a plugin for browsers that makes it possible to analyze a website from their level. Thanks to it, we can check basic SEO indicators (keyword density, number of pages in the index, or number of backlinks). With this device, we can see how varied the text is, whether synonyms were used, and which phrases dominate in it, all thanks to the fact that SEOquake makes it possible to identify the most frequently occurring 2-, 3-, and 4-word phrases on the page.
5. Senuto
Senuto is a multifunctional tool, which makes it an ideal aid for preparing comprehensive SEO reports. In addition to basic reports, such as visibility analysis or keyword research, it also has several lesser-known but very useful functions. One of them is Trending Words in the Word Features report. It makes it possible to assess the seasonality of the website's subject matter and searches for phrases popular in a given month. In this way, it is possible to prepare for positioning a specific topic, category, or product well in advance.
6. Keyword Hero
Thanks to this device, you will be able to more efficiently analyze keywords in Google Analytics, where much data is hidden under the Other label. Keyword Hero is an alternative to AdWords, showing exactly the organic traffic of a specific phrase. This tool combines keyword data with session data, which enables more accurate analysis, also at the level of a specific phrase.
