The redesign was intended to align the platform with the content it publishes, and above all with the preferences of its readers, as well as with the international Glamour brand.
- We decided to redesign Glamour.pl to respond to the current needs of our readers. The result is a new site layout, friendly navigation and intuitive functionality designed to make it a pleasure for users to explore the site and to keep them coming back regularly for new content. We placed the greatest emphasis on the mobile version, because almost 90% of them read us on smartphones – says Paulina Klepacz, editor-in-chief of Glamour.pl. – We also wanted to showcase as well as possible the content that matters to us, along with special campaigns and brand-related events: Glamour Woman of the Year, Glamour Glammies and Glamour Eco Awards.
New layout and navigation
During the redesign, care was taken to ensure a clear division into categories on the homepage: fashion, beauty, celebrities, entertainment, lifestyle, and love and relationships. In the fashion and beauty sections, e-commerce widgets were added – the editorial team regularly makes its own selections to offer users attractive, trend-consistent products from partners. Every day, Glamour.pl editors also choose the most important piece, which appears as the top story at the top of the page. Another new feature is special sections that allow an attractive presentation of content created in collaboration with partners, for example with "Top Model." The online magazine Glamour Unicorn has also gained a place on the homepage, where the digital and print editorial teams join forces under the leadership of Angelika Kucińska. Popular audio and video formats have also been highlighted, especially the original podcast series: "20 minut mody," "Glamour Girlboss" and "Sekspertki." All content on the site is available free of charge.
The article page has also been refreshed to make using Glamour.pl content even easier and more enjoyable, and to increase user engagement. Additional formats are delivered organically to encourage exploring the site, discovering more articles and quizzes, and making purchases.
