LOT Introduces Innovations to Make Travel Easier
From 20 January 2025, passengers will be able to use deferred payment options via the PayPo system and exchange miles for flight tickets thanks to the Cash & Miles service. PayPo is a system that allows passengers to purchase tickets with deferred payment. Users can enjoy financial flexibility, paying for tickets only after a certain period. In Poland, 2 million people already use this service, which demonstrates the growing interest in such solutions. PayPo has been operating on the market since 2016 and serves approximately 36,000 online stores, making it a leader in the BNPL (buy now, pay later) category.Cash & Miles is a new feature for participants of the Miles & More loyalty programme, which allows miles to be exchanged for part of the value of a flight ticket. To use this option, a passenger must have a minimum of 3,000 miles in their account. This enables flexible management of travel costs and the accumulation of further miles, even while using this service.The partnership with PayPo is another step towards providing our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience when organising their travel. Thanks to deferred payments, LOT customers can better plan their spending – buying tickets at favourable prices and paying for them at a convenient time. Cash & Miles – a new feature for passengers
Cash & Miles is a new feature for LOT passengers that rewards frequent travel and invites them to continue discovering new cultures, places and flavours. Thanks to it, every participant of the Miles & More loyalty programme can decide for themselves how many miles to exchange for a ticket in a given transaction. Through this feature, we want to offer our passengers even more possibilities. I believe this product will contribute to much more frequent decisions to fulfil travel dreams.
