We too fought for democracy 30 years ago. The support of democratic European societies was of enormous importance to our aspirations at that time. Now we can do this for Belarus.
As part of the social campaign today (9.09.2020), we are displaying an animated white-red-white flag on 20,000 LED screens in Poland, including on the large-format LED wall at Plac Unii Lubelskiej in Warsaw.
How the #glosdlaBialorusi campaign works on LED screens
Every supporter of the campaign who adds the hashtag #glosdlaBialorusi via social media (Twitter/Instagram) is detected by an application monitoring Internet resources in real time. The moment the hashtag is detected by the system, an animation of raising the flag of freedom on a flagpole is played on all Screen Network screens across Poland. In this way, our solidarity with Belarus gains not only a symbolic but also a real dimension, and every voice is support for the democratic aspirations of our neighbours. Only today, only for one day, we are casting our votes. The hashtag #glosdlaBialorusi.
