Volkswagen Financial Services strengthens its leading position in passenger car financing

An 18.7 per cent share of the leasing and fleet management market, more than 215,000 financed cars and 83 per cent satisfied customers. Volkswagen Financial Services is number one in passenger car financing in Poland, as confirmed by the latest SAMAR and CEPiK data.

Volkswagen Financial Services has announced that in the first half of 2024 its market share stood at 18.7 per cent (SAMAR, CEPiK; leasing/fleet management registrations). The company consolidated its position as industry leader (an increase of 1.7 percentage points year on year), maintaining a large lead over the other companies on the podium (5.5 pp and 7.5 pp more respectively). This result is the outcome of intensive work and confirms VW FS's full readiness for the growing expectations of customers and the company's partners.

A proven financing partner

Volkswagen Financial Services is responsible for financing more than 215,000 cars currently driving on Polish roads. This significant figure is reflected in yet another ranking – according to data from Volkswagen Group Polska, in the first half of 2024, for every 10 VGP vehicles sold with financing, as many as 6 were financed by Volkswagen Financial Services.

The growing trust in the VW FS brand is also evidenced by the fact that in 2024 it was honoured with the prestigious title of "Superbrands 2024" – reserved exclusively for the strongest business brands on the Polish market. The winners were selected by experts from the Lewiatan Confederation – and, importantly, Volkswagen Financial Services was the only leasing industry company to appear in this ranking.

Customer surveys confirm this

According to the internal, regular satisfaction survey carried out by Volkswagen Financial Services, more than 83 per cent of customers are satisfied with the company's services, and not much fewer, 72 per cent, would recommend VW FS services to their friends and family.
