How to make dreams come true?
Warsaw Creatives has been turning clients' dreams into reality for more than ten years. And what dreams! From a massive Italian ad featuring Kendall Jenner for Reserved to the exclusive wellness line Cosmoss—created for Kate Moss—there's no idea we couldn't fulfill or star we couldn't help shine in every project.
Of course, we wouldn't be where we are now without all those small steps behind us. When we started in 2011, our services focused on production. Today we've come full circle: our 360° service covers marketing, PR and communication, creative concepts, graphic design, event organization, and influencer marketing. In short: everything creative.
An agency without borders
Currently, our headquarters is in a historic townhouse in Warsaw, and we also have offices in London and Lisbon. But Warsaw Creatives, true to its name, is not about buildings but about creative people. We're already around 50. Together, we're expanding into new markets, serving clients from various countries and industries, offering comprehensive solutions on a global scale.
Once, Warsaw Creatives focused on supporting local clients. Today, we execute projects for brands with European and global reach such as the CCC group (including HalfPrice), Reserved, also Magda Butrym or Danucera. Additionally, we run local projects for global players (e.g., Natuzzi). It's going well.
Paweł Walicki, CEO / Partner of Warsaw Creatives, talks about how the agency developed, what changes occurred in the organizational structure, and what's behind Warsaw Creatives' success.
Warsaw Creatives 2.0
Creativity and world-class level of work and service. These were (and still are) the two pillars on which we built client relationships, starting with just three employees.
Last year, we decided to continue the restructuring we began in 2020 during the pandemic. To meet market challenges and client needs and strengthen our position as a communication agency, we created a new role in the company - Managing Director, filled by Jan Stelmaszyk.
"Since 2020, we've made a series of changes that enabled us to fully develop the competencies of a communication agency: creating new departments, expanding teams, hiring a new senior-level team, and doubling the number of employees compared to the beginning of 2020." - comments Paweł Walicki
Changes in Warsaw Creatives' structure
New roles, new departments
At the end of 2022, we opened a new agency department, Client Service. Its task is to build and maintain client relationships, ensuring the highest quality of service. The Client Service department is a key element in the agency's structure, streamlining support and project execution.
"Our long-term relationships are added value for clients. They are proof of our commitment. We're glad clients trust us: Reserved has been with us for over 10 years, and Magda Butrym for nearly 7. We believe the newly created Client Service department will be an important addition to our service offer and help us even better support our clients in achieving their business goals." - adds Paweł Walicki
We also continue to focus on developing the Design Studio under Krzysztof Seyfried, established in 2021, and expanding the Creative department (led by Marysia Gajewska, handling creative concepts for sessions and productions for our clients).
Warsaw Creatives for global beauty & wellness brands
Beauty and wellness without compromise
As topics of skincare, natural beauty, and well-being become leading voices in the body discussion, the number of brands positioning themselves in this trend grows. At Warsaw Creatives, we help them speak with an authentic voice that captivates customers. Last year, we had the opportunity to run multi-level projects for beauty and wellness brands, involving comprehensive actions and cross-departmental collaboration.
One of them was agency support for the market launch of Cosmoss by Kate Moss with a wellness product line. Our Design Studio handled the brand's image creation, including its logo, packaging, and website. The Creative department was responsible for creating content, photos, and packshots. Meanwhile, the event for the brand's inauguration, including introducing the brand to Harrods department store in London, was executed by the Event & Experience department. This department, under Asia Sobierajska, was reactivated at the beginning of 2022 after a quieter pandemic period.
Warsaw Creative with 3 offices worldwide – how did the agency achieve this?
The Creative and Design Studio departments also collaborated during this time with Danuta Mieloch and Rescue Spa on creating identity, packaging design, and visual DNA for the new brand. DANUCERA is the culmination of the founder's experience combined with modern innovations in skincare solutions.
Both projects were created in collaboration with Warsaw Labs, which specializes in comprehensive brand building in the cosmetics and wellness segment.
Art and fashion in original campaigns
Fashion beyond schemas
In the fashion industry, where competition is fiercer than ever, standing out and grabbing audience attention can be crucial for a project's success. At Warsaw Creatives, we create productions and creative concepts, going beyond conventional schemas and standard approaches to campaign creation.
In 2022, we created unique productions, including campaigns for Sprandi "Take Care" featuring world-class stars - Finn Wolfhard known from "Stranger Things," legendary actor Kyle MacLachlan, famous for his role in the cult "Twin Peaks," and supermodel Amber Valletta. Warsaw Creatives handled casting and production, and the campaign itself achieved huge success, also beyond Poland's borders.
Another project we realized last year was the production, creative concept, and event for the Reserved brand as part of the Blanca Miró x Reserved campaign. In co-creating the campaign with the top Spanish influencer, we were inspired by 1920s surrealist works, which we translated into fashion by playing with color, form, and abstraction conventions.
We also can't forget our long-term collaboration with the Polish brand with global reach - Magda Butrym. The designer's clothes are worn by world-class stars and supermodels, and our collaboration (besides PR activities, celebrity endorsement, event production) includes campaign production, casting, and content creation, including lookbooks and e-commerce.
Success Story
We're pleased to share our clients' successes, with whom we've collaborated for years and are responsible for comprehensive PR communication activities and, above all, media relations.
In 2022, we could add to our string of successes the win of the HalfPrice brand in the Marketing Director of the Year / CMO of The Year competition organized by Mediarun.com during the evening Grand Finale Gala accompanying the Marketing Executive Summit & Marketing - the brand won two awards in the categories Launch / Re-branding of the Year and Fashion / Lifestyle.
In March of this year, the award in the "Fashion Excellence" competition by Twój Styl magazine for "Brand Rebranding" was received by TOUS, which underwent a brand and corporate purpose evolution. The idea of the rebranding, which we had the pleasure of conducting with the brand, was to respond to the needs of modern consumers and reach the younger Gen-Z generation. We're even more excited about the projects we'll realize with the TOUS brand in the coming months.
What can we expect in the second half of 2023?
The first quarter of 2023 was fruitful with more projects for local and international brands. We consistently want to continue current activities, develop the agency's competencies, deliver innovative solutions, and expand our portfolio. We'll continue to open up to micro-productions, which were introduced to our permanent service offer at the beginning of the year. Thanks to micro-production and the synergy between the Production and Influencer Marketing departments, the agency can better tailor creations to clients' needs and expectations.
"The second half of the year will certainly bring us many new challenges and opportunities for the agency, where we always prioritize quality and individual approach. As an agency specializing in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries, our key area of operation is strengthening our position in these sectors. Nevertheless, our experience and competencies have allowed us to realize our first projects in the real estate industry. This shows our flexibility and ability to adapt to our clients' diverse needs." - summarizes Paweł Walicki, CEO / Partner Warsaw Creatives
Summary
Warsaw Creatives has grown from a three-person production company to a 360° agency employing around 50 specialists, with offices in Warsaw, London, and Lisbon. The key to success proved to be the restructuring initiated in 2020 and new departments: Client Service, Design Studio, and the reactivated Event & Experience.
The agency's portfolio includes high-profile campaigns with stars (Finn Wolfhard, Amber Valletta) and building beauty brands from scratch, like Cosmoss by Kate Moss. In 2023, Warsaw Creatives focuses on micro-productions and expansion into new industries, such as real estate.
